GREETINGS! This past year was an exciting one for the Education Center. We ramped up our social media platforms, allowing more direct exposure and interaction with our audience, including monthly LIVEs on Instagram and Facebook. Dr. Velma Scantlebury, our medical consultant, was available on Instagram every first Wednesday and on Facebook every third Wednesday—both occurred at 12:30 pm. Our support group, the Kidney Chat, was the second Tuesday of each month by telephone. Merida Bourjolly was elected as the new president for the DPC Education Center by its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Bourjolly has served as a DPC Education Center Board Member since 2018. “It is a privilege to be selected as DPC Education Center's Board President. Preparations for the DPC Education Center’s Inaugural Gala scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2014 are in full swing. Our venue is 101 Constitution Avenue, NW in Washington, DC. The rooftop terrace offers a spectacular panorama of downtown with the crown jewel, the Capitol building, at the forefront. You won’t find a more beautiful vantage point.
