The pandemic was devastating. Businesses closed and some never reopened! Students were taught virtually! Many people died! Many were afraid because of lack of finances and not knowing what the future held! But what about the children who had COVID and are now experiencing chronic kidney disease and other health diseases after having COVID?

The DPC Education Center went live on Instagram for a special event, hosted by Nancy Scott, a transplant recipient and the Education Project Manager of the DPC Education Center. Derek Powers, a dialysis patient; Al Brisbane, a transplant recipient and Christopher Richards, a dialysis patient: are three resilient patients who share their respective stories. Each of them discussed how kidney disease and dialysis have impacted lives, as well as the lessons they've learned as patients.
