As a person with kidney disease, your participation in government is crucial. During this course you will learn the basics of advocacy and how you can elevate your voice with lawmakers.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Define advocacy as it relates to Dialysis Patient Citizens.
• Become familiar with the ways to become involved in advocacy.
• Feel comfortable contacting your Members of Congress on issues important to ESRD care.

Getting Started

1. Go to dpcedcenter.nextthought.com
2. Click “Get Started” under the “Sign In” button, and create your account!
3. Click the “+Add” text next to the “Courses” header.
