She is the Senior Manager of Advocacy and Communities for Fresenius Medical Care. A passionate advocate for the last 14 years\, Vanessa does not let her diagnosis slow her down. She holds a Master’s degree from Emerson College and a BA in Political Science from University of Massachusetts’s\, Amherst. She has presented for many organizations including: NKF\, PCORI\, ANNA\, AAKP\, FDA and HHS. She is considered an expert in patient experience and engagement. \nLayce Trevino is a care partner to her husband\, Sam Trevino.
